already at their highest levels already in the season in more than 30 years. good evening. i'm dan ashley. carolyn johnson has the night off. let's begin with abc7 meteorologist sand yaw patel. sandhya patel. she is tracking the rain. >> yes, dan, and the rain has made its way around many parts of the bay area. let's show you live doppler 7hd. let's go to the radar and we will show you what it looks i can like. we are tracking the storm around the monterey bay. let's show you where it is moderate around boulder creek and scots valley and summit road as you cansee here indicated by the yellows. we are seeing some moderate rainfall. and as i pan around to other parts of the bay area, you have to check this out. this is really interesting from cobb mountain to the hills surrounding ukiah and heading down or heading up depending on where you are. look at this, saint helena and we are seeing some pink here in the hills. it is an indication of a mix of rain and snow. of course we are getting the rain at the lower elevations around novato and santa rosa and tib by ron. as i take you down to stre

at the forecast and live doppler 7 hd. lisa camera on the move. see you in a moment. >> that's right dan. when you look at life doppler 7 hd right now and we are going to talk about that rain coming up when we return. or not. here we go. we are talking about a large northerly swell coming in out ahead of the front but you foe what, we are looking at very wet conditions soggy conditions for late fall and pretty much all of december. so you can see 151 percent of normal san francisco with 154 percent of normal over to the east bay so we don't need any more rain but here it comes. we time it out for you and 4:00 o'clock tomorrow things are getting a little bit wet in the forth bay. by the over nature hours getting a little more interesting san francisco peninsula but lack at that. 4:00 o'clock in the morning it's out of here and by early saturday morning we are into mostly sunny conditions so much of the weekend looks dry.so this system really not amounting to much but we will talk about that high surf advisory and how much rain to expect in jaws few minutes. dan. >> thanks a lot. more rain

feet over flood stage. 40 families in the community of felton grove had to leave their homes. dan and liz say they did get advanced warning that the river was rising fast. >> first it was an advisory only. then it became mandatory as it was clear the river was going to come up. >> streets in felton were from six inches to four feet underwater. these photos taken by show the area at the height of the flooding, a stranded police car had to be towed out. >>> stretch of road off richmond parkway reopened after flooding caused its closure. it took on water all day yesterday. the landscape along the road was so saturated rain was rolling off it, the road had to be closed until the water drained off. heavy rain caused a creek to overflow banks yesterday afternoon in -- turned into a lake, four homes were flooded. >>> san francisco international airport expects no weather-related delays today that's good news for travelers whose flights were cancelled this weekend. others spent hours at the airport. at one point arriving flights were delayed up to two hours. >> i got here 4:00 i've been w
